Hooper as a full service distributor of baby items and nursery needs for the department store and mass merchant trade. Sales were conducted under the mark, Grow Time.
In 1984 during a time of major retail consolidation, Hooper made a strategic decision to limit service to what was considered the higher end of the baby market under a newly created mark, Elegant Baby.
Today, under the leadership of Hooper’s sons, Yates Hooper and David Hooper, the brand and company has re-invented itself yet again as the premier one-stop shop of baby gifts and accessories for the finest children’s shops, gift boutiques, and high-end department stores across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe.
